Rising Cominelli and aching Longo in Austria
Cristian Cominelli’s growth and Tony Longo’s persistence are last week-end TX Active-Bianchi team’s good news. Both elite riders tackled a demanding race at the Otztaler Mountainbike Festival, in Haiming (Austria), on Sunday, May 1st.

On a challenging 4,7-km course throughout a pine forest, Cominelli confirmed his significant shape upgrade, taking 12th place. Tony Longo had much harder run because of a back contracture, the Nalles race’s winner gritted his teeth to complete the race though, placing 19th.

Junior Team achieved further remarkable placements in the first event of Coppa Italia MTB, the Italian five-stage circuit reserved to youth categories. Cadets Federico Barri and Chiara Teocchi took second in their respective series, whilst Cristian Boffelli came 6th.

Giorgio Rossi was Rookie series runner-up, whilst a puncture jeopardized Oscar Vairetti’s race. All riders managed by Andrea Ferrero showed a great performance, having been front-runners in all series.
