Bianchi and Androni team again close to podium at 94th Giro d’Italia. Colombian Josè Sepa was fourth in the stage-11, 142 km from Tortoreto Lido to Castelfidardo (mid Italy), won by French John Gadret (AG2R La Mondiale) ahead of Joaquin Rodriguez (Katusha Team) and Italian Giovanni Visconti (Farnese Vini-Neri). Eighth overall, Serpa had already shined in the spectacular stage-5, from Piombino to Orvieto, where Androni’s rider took third with his Bianchi Oltre model.

For the ninth day in a row in the Top-10, Gianni Savio’s team keep on leading Super Team ranking. In the first ten days of the pink race, sprinter Roberto Ferrari placed third in Fiuggi Terme, fourth in Parma and Teramo and fifth in Tropea; Angel Vicioso won the stage3, in Rapallo; José Rujano warmed-up in Montevergine di Mercogliano, taking seventh, then stole the show two days later on the Etna climb, as runner-up of current pink jersey’s holder, Spanish Alberto Contador
