Spotlights on Tony Longo in TX Active-Bianchi’s headquarter. Elite rider will try to reply the win his U23 team-mate Gerhard Kerschbaumer got last week at MTB Internazionali d’Italia’s, scheduled in Vermiglio (Trento – Northern Italy), on Sunday, June 12th. After Kerschbaumer success in the U23 final ranking (4 times winner and one runner-up), Longo is awaited to a great race by his team, to score the victory in Elite series: after 5 rounds, TX Active-Bianchi’s rider has only one point less than ranking’s leader Marco Aurelio Fontana. In Trentino region elite Cristian Cominelli and U23 Ricardo Marinheiro will race as well.

“We are training Kerschbaumer for next World Cup’s rounds in Canada and Usa, whilst we asked to Longo a proud performance to win his series. I’m waiting even for a lucky day for Cominelli and a good result by Marinheiro: on Sunday he has to show his best skills, to gain a ticket for next two World Cup rounds”, TX Active-Bianchi team manager Massimo Ghirotto explained.

Junior Team will line-up the full roster in the Trentino’s race, cadets and rookies Coppa Italia’s stage-3. Together with Chiara Teocchi, Oscar Vairetti and Federico Barri, running with the Lombardy Team (Barri will wear as usual Italian champion’s tricolore), Giorgio Rossi and Cristian Boffelli will look for other victories with the TX Active-Bianchi jersey.
